Review:
The best meal I have had in a very long time. The appetizers I tried (their signature Chlöe salad and their grilled caesar salad) were very unique, but I didn’t find them especially impressive taste-wise (the tips of the romaine leaves in the caesar were burnt to a crisp and tasted of charcoal). However… the entrées made up for everything. I tried two of their specials: venison (with sweet potato bread pudding) and flounder (with crab and rock shrimp over mashed potato). The venison was the most tender I have ever had and the flounder was the best I have ever had. Truly wonderful. Chlöe is Django’s
only BYOB competitor, in my book. Keep in mind they don’t take reservations and only accept cash.
