Maoz
Review:
I normally don’t like to review chains, but Maoz is an exception; not only is this their only location outside of Europe, but their food can’t be beat. You’ll feel like you stepped right into Amsterdam in this tiny, techno-blasting, vegetarian haven. For under $5 you get a pita stuffed with falafel, hummus, and/or fried eggplant, and a salad bar filled with about a dozen different toppings you can stuff into the pita yourself. Add to that a cone of mayonnaise-drenched pommes frites and you’re set. The best part is that they’re open until the wee hours of the morning every day, or until they run out of their fresh ingredients.
