In my opinion the best lunch truck at Drexel University. Not only will you get some decent food (in lunch truck standards), but Michael (a.k.a. Mohammed) will also serenade you with his sarcasm and comedic stylings. Nothing beats their cajun chicken lunch special. They also have a variety of vegitarian and Indian options. Don’t expect anything healthy, though.

Ehh Michael’s screwed over happy star so they are not so hott. Try Khan’s grilled chicken hoagie or happy star grilled chicken hoagie. Michael’s(aka pizza truck these days) is teh suck these days.

What did they do to happy star?

Someone should post a lunch truck entry for Magic Carpet as well, they’re the only truck I’ve eaten from the past couple years.

They sold their original

They sold their original truck (at the end) to the owners of Happy Star, on the premise that they were moving back to Egypt. They did go away for a term or so, but then they returned, buying the pizza truck. Not only is the pizza truck closer to the main drag, but they now have a griddle and pizza oven. They still make everything they used to, but now they have a better truck and the ability to sell pizza.

Apparently, the story goes that there have been a long line of “Michael’s” that have owned the Michael’s truck, all of whom shook up the business for the rest of the truck owners. For example, the previous owner (before Mohammed) apparently started undercutting the rest of the truck owners (who apparently had an agreement to inflate prices).
