First Time in Philadelphia?
Is this your first time in Philadelphia? Maybe your first time in the United States? No problem! You probably already have a guide book or two—-that’s okay—-just rip out all of the pages that deal with food and you’ll be on your way to a memorable holiday.
Please check back on this page often; it is a work in progress.
Eating Iberia
I know this website is supposed to be about Philadelphia… but I don’t know how to finish this sentence.
For various reasons, including both work and leisure, I’ve found myself in Iberia (i.e. Spain and Portugal) three times in the past two years. According to my travel philosophy, I researched a lot of restaurants and made reservations before my embarkation. After over a month in Iberia, in over a dozen cities/villages, here’s my conclusion: travel guides are horrible.
Needless to say, the best places I found were by suggestion of a local (or found off of a local’s website, equivalent to my own).

Summer 2005 Update
As many of you might have noticed, I have not added a new review in quite some time. Part of this is due to the time required to switch over to the new (and hopefully more navigable) website interface. Mostly, however, this is due to my negligence. With that said, I have a lot of plans for the future of this website. Besides adding new reviews, I am planning on adding an interface for registered users (registration is, and will always be, free) to add their own restaurant reviews, in addition to their comments on my reviews. Also, I will be having a series of articles (rants?), and polls. I’ll keep you updated!
